Best Secret Units in Anime Ascendants

Secret units offer the highest ceiling in the game. Their evolutions, unique abilities, and late-game potential make them the strongest overall options.

Itachi
Currently the best unit in the game. Itachi brings burn damage, support value, and extremely high stats around the 40k mark. His only drawback is his line AoE on the final upgrade, but even with that limitation, his DPS output and burn make him unmatched.

Secret Banner Unit (Early Access Tested)
This unit features full AoE on evolution, making him reliable for clearing waves quickly. While his base damage is lower due to the wide AoE, evolving him is surprisingly easy, giving him excellent early- and mid-game value.

Sukuna
Based on early footage, Sukuna has five attacks, including a full AoE final upgrade. His scaling hints at extremely strong DPS potential, placing him just below Itachi for now.

Uta
A powerful unit with good damage output, though slightly overshadowed by Sukuna’s potential. Still a strong secret worth using until more testing is done post-launch.

Sand Madman (Ultra Legend Stage)
Obtainable from the legend stage. He is easier to evolve structurally but requires three EVO parts, each with a low 10 percent drop chance. Strong unit overall, but farming materials may slow progression.

Top Mythic Units in the Release Meta

Mythics form the backbone of most teams. They offer high DPS, smooth evolutions, and reliable clearing power.

Noah
One of the strongest mythics thanks to extremely high damage numbers and a fairly manageable evolution path. Her nails come from legend stages, making her evolution accessible early.

Hoshino
Community-tested and praised. Hoshino hits extremely hard, but his evolution is expensive, requiring two daggers and a large number of stones. High cost but high reward.

Frieren
A battle pass mythic with an evolution, which instantly gives her added value. Reliable damage, accessible progression, and clean performance across modes.

Itadori
Useful as a standalone mythic and also required for evolving into Sukuna. Strong early-game DPS with great scaling.

Beginner-Friendly Units and Early Access Choices

These are the units new players will likely use first. They offer a smoother early-game experience without requiring significant investment.

Mikey
Available to early access owners. A strong starter unit with balanced damage and cost efficiency.

Legendaries
If you pull a legendary early, progression becomes significantly easier. They provide strong wave clearing and bridge the gap until you obtain mythics.

Shanks (Beginner Category)
While his stats lean high DPS but low base damage, Shanks gains full AoE upon evolution. This makes him one of the better early-game choices for clearing waves quickly.

Gon and Killua

A paid unit costing a small amount. While his damage is low, he can be placed instantly in wave one thanks to his cheap deployment cost. Great for collectors and supporters of the game.

Demon Lord (Unobtainable)
A legacy early access unit from the game’s previous version. No longer obtainable.

Best Support Units in Anime Ascendants

Support units drastically improve team performance through buffs, burn applications, or utility effects.

Owen
The best support in the game. Owen provides a 30–35 percent damage buff to all units within range. This applies universally and dramatically boosts overall DPS.

Itachi (Support Variant)
This alternate version applies burn damage. While not as strong as the secret Itachi, his burn makes him a viable support for wave clearing and boss fights.

Gojo
Gojo retains his classic support role with strong utility and solid team enhancement. Often an automatic pick when building balanced teams.
