Universal Piece Cosmic Garou & Yuji V2 Update Guide
This update drops two massive additions into Universal Piece — the Cursebolt fighting style (Yuji V2) and the Cosmic Garou spec. Both are tied to the new City Island content, a new world boss system, and some of the strongest visual cutscenes in the game so far.
How To Get Yuji V2 (Cursebolt Fighting Style)
Yuji V2 is unlocked through a questline on City Island.
Head to City Island and talk to the Cursebolt NPC. You’ll receive two main objectives that can be completed in any order.
You must:
• Kill Cursed Spirits on City Island
• Defeat the Hunter Garou boss
The Hunter Garou boss does not spawn naturally. You must summon it using the Heart of Hunter item.
How To Get Heart of Hunter
Farm mobs on City Island until they drop the Heart of Hunter.
Use the Heart to summon Hunter Garou and defeat him to progress your Yuji V2 questline.
Once both quest objectives are completed, you unlock the Cursebolt fighting style.
How To Get Cosmic Garou
Cosmic Garou is a spec and requires multiple steps.
You will need:
• 3 Mystery Books
• Defeat players using Heart of Hunter active
• 5 World Boss Blessings
How World Boss Works
Talk to the Moon NPC on City Island to manage the world boss system.
The world boss spawns every 90 minutes naturally.
You can reduce the spawn timer by submitting materials to the Moon NPC, allowing you to summon it much faster.
The world boss is extremely tanky and drops several valuable items including World Boss Blessings.
You must collect five World Boss Blessings to complete Cosmic Garou’s requirement.
Cosmic Garou Special Notes
Cosmic Garou has a Cosmic Mode.
You must activate Cosmic Mode to use Garou’s final cutscene move.
Without Cosmic Mode active, the ultimate finisher cannot be triggered.
Cosmic Garou also has an exclusive accessory that boosts its overall performance.
Yuji V2 Overview
Yuji V2 is a fast-obtain fighting style with three clean, visually strong moves.
It’s easy to unlock, strong in early-mid game, and fits well with aggressive PvP and PvE builds.
