Anime Raids Units Tier List (Release Guide)

Anime Raids is built around your team composition — each unit plays a unique role, and the difference between an S-tier carry and a C-tier filler is massive. Whether you’re grinding through early story Acts or tackling tougher bosses, your lineup will decide how far you can go.

This tier list breaks down every current hero at release, analyzing their role, performance, enchant synergy, and scaling potential.

S TIER (Best Units in Anime Raids)

1. Mysterious (Bleed DPS)

Role: AoE Damage / Burst DPS
Why He’s Good: Massive AoE, extremely fast cooldowns, and applies Bleed for bonus damage over time. Clears waves like nothing else.
Best Enchants: Apollo / Sharingan / Rage
Build Tip: Stack Crit and Cooldown stats. He snowballs hard with early enchants.
Verdict: Top-tier carry. Absolutely melts through early acts and scales well late-game.

2. Rino (Quick Freeze)

Role: Crowd Control / AoE DPS
Why He’s Good: Freezes enemies — even bosses — completely locking them down. Solid AoE, consistent damage, and works great in auto battles.
Best Enchants: Apollo / Sharingan / Magician
Verdict: Essential control unit. When he’s on your team, you dictate the fight.

3. Tangero (Carbon Dealer)

Role: AoE Tank / Frontline Bruiser
Why He’s Good: Strong early, tanky, and easy to ascend. Deals solid AoE damage while holding aggro effectively.
Best Enchants: Avalon / Self-Healing / Tank
Verdict: Best Legendary for new players. Carries through the first three Acts comfortably.

4. Sakura (Medical Ninja)

Role: Support / Healer
Why She’s Good: The only consistent healer early game. Keeps your frontliners alive through boss fights and AoE waves.
Best Enchants: Sharingan / Saint / Magician
Verdict: S-tier for early game. You’ll eventually outgrow her, but she’s clutch in Acts 1–4.

5. Igris (Shadow Knight)

Role: Tank / Damage-over-Time
Why He’s Good: Absorbs hits while applying burning or shadow-based DoT. Looks amazing and scales with proper relics.
Best Enchants: Avalon / Tank / Rage
Verdict: Stylish and strong. Reliable tank that doesn’t fall off.

6. Sasuke (Rebel Ninja)

Role: AoE DPS / Easy Ascend
Why He’s Good: Great damage for his rarity, low cooldowns, and accessible early.
Best Enchants: Apollo / Rage / Magician
Verdict: Best rare in the game. Still relevant long after you move into mythic-tier units.

7. Naruto (Noodles Ninja)

Role: AoE DPS
Why He’s Good: Simple but effective. Consistent AoE with solid scaling for a rare unit.
Best Enchants: Apollo / Rage / Magician
Verdict: Beginner-friendly S-tier pick. Great starter carry.

A TIER (Strong and Reliable Picks)

1. Sabre (Might King)

Role: Burst DPS
Why She’s Good: Heavy-hitting attacks that destroy bosses, but slow cooldowns limit uptime.
Best Enchants: Rage / Cooldown / Apollo
Verdict: A-tier damage dealer. Devastating when built right, but needs gear to shine.

2. Katakuri (Gluttonous)

Role: Off-Tank / Stun Support
Why He’s Good: Decent balance of defense and control. Can stun enemies with vertigo effects.
Best Enchants: Avalon / Self-Healing / Tank
Verdict: Reliable frontline. Not flashy but gets the job done.

3. Nezuko (Demon Sister)

Role: AoE DPS / Off-Tank
Why She’s Good: Can hit multiple enemies and soak up damage. Good transitional unit for early players.
Best Enchants: Avalon / Apollo / Tank
Verdict: Early game backbone. Solid carry before mythic unlocks.

4. Shobu (Butterfly)

Role: Tank / AoE Hybrid
Why She’s Good: Decent balance between defense and damage. Easy to slot into most teams.
Best Enchants: Avalon / Tank / Rage
Verdict: Good hybrid pick. Holds the line while contributing to DPS.

5. Luffy (Straw Hat)

Role: Stun / Frontline Tank
Why He’s Good: Reliable crowd control with short stuns. Great for early clearing.
Best Enchants: Avalon / Tank / Saint
Verdict: A-tier for early game. Falls off later but remains useful early on.

6. Bulma (Genius Scientist)

Role: Support / Team Buff
Why She’s Good: Increases team attack by roughly 30%. Great team synergy, especially for AoE comps.
Best Enchants: Magician / Saint / Sharingan
Verdict: A-tier support. Massive burst windows during her buff uptime.

B TIER (Situational or Average Units)

1. Whitebeard (Sea King)

Role: Tank / Crowd Control
Why He’s Good: Extremely tanky and weakens enemies. Perfect for holding aggro but weak in damage output.
Best Enchants: Avalon / Self-Healing / Tank
Verdict: B-tier wall. Great defensive option, low DPS.

2. Gojo (Infinite)

Role: Boss Killer / Single Target DPS
Why He’s Good: High burst damage and short cooldowns. Shreds bosses but lacks AoE.
Best Enchants: Apollo / Rage / Cooldown
Verdict: B-tier specialist. Amazing for raids, not great for waves.

3. Noara

Role: AoE DPS
Why She’s Good: Great starter for clearing mobs. Falls off mid to late game.
Best Enchants: Apollo / Sharingan / Magician
Verdict: Solid B-tier starter. Use her until mythic AoE units are available.

4. Choi (Human Strongest Weapon)

Role: Single Target DPS / DoT
Why He’s Good: Applies damage over time but low total DPS compared to Gojo or Mysterious.
Best Enchants: Rage / Apollo / Cooldown
Verdict: B-tier pick. Interesting mechanic but lacks finishing power.

5. Toi (Spellcaster)

Role: Support / Debuffer
Why He’s Good: Reduces enemy defense, allowing your team to deal more damage.
Weakness: Very long cooldowns. Needs gear investment.
Verdict: B-tier support. Potentially A-tier with cooldown relics.

6. Goku (Kiong Master)

Role: Single Target DPS / Bruiser
Why He’s Good: Average in every stat. Not bad, but nothing special either.
Best Enchants: Rage / Tank / Apollo
Verdict: Balanced B-tier. Great filler until stronger DPS arrives.

C TIER (Not Recommended for Investment)

Currently, there aren’t many truly bad units at launch, but a few fall off hard past early Acts or require too much setup to be worthwhile.
Examples include base Rares without AoE or crowd control, or slow supports with poor uptime.

Recommended Early Game Team

Slot Unit Role
1 Tangero Frontline Tank
2 Sakura Healer
3 Mysterious Main DPS
4 Rino CC / Freeze
5 Sasuke Flexible DPS

Why this team works: It balances sustain, AoE, and CC. You’ll breeze through early dungeons without relying on heavy RNG summons.

Best Enchant Combos

Enchant Effect Recommended Units
Apollo Boosts Crit Damage Mysterious, Rino, Noara
Sharingan Boosts Speed & Attack Sasuke, Sakura, Rino
Avalon Healing and Tank Buff Tangero, Katakuri, Whitebeard
Rage High Burst Damage Gojo, Sabre, Choi
Magician Skill Cooldown Reduction Rino, Sakura, Bulma

Anime Raids’ early meta rewards AoE burst and CC-heavy teams more than raw single-target power.
If you’re new:

  • Focus on getting at least one S-tier DPS (Mysterious / Rino)
  • Pair them with Sakura for sustain
  • Add a tank (Tangero / Katakuri) to survive later stages

Once you unlock mythics, build toward synergy-driven teams that combine AoE damage, freeze, healing, and cooldown reduction.
