Anime Vanguards Leaves AFK Farming Guide – Unlimited

The new Leaves currency is one of the hardest event resources to farm, and the game mode tied to it is notably tougher than earlier events like Cakes or Summer tokens. This guide breaks down exactly how to run the event, build your team, pick buffs, and maintain a consistent AFK or semi-AFK setup that earns hundreds of thousands of Leaves every night.

Understanding the Leaves Game Mode

The event requires you to reach Wave 20 for a reward of 2,000+ Leaves per run. The run length sits between 7–10 minutes depending on your comp and buff choices. Unlike seasonal infinite modes, this isn’t a two-minute loop—you must clear all the way through.

Because of that, efficiency comes from consistent clears rather than extreme speed.

Recommended Team Setup

Your lineup should focus on strong early pressure, boss melting, and reliable support effects. A stable team looks like this:

• High-damage main carry (Dio is excellent thanks to strong scaling and upgrades)
• Second DPS (Guts is highly recommended due to injury stacking and burst)
• Area-control / zone pressure unit (Broly or similar wide range AoE)
• Support slot (Newsman is extremely useful thanks to bubble CC and crowd shaping)
• Optional: Monarch Hollow Knight if you own him—he dramatically speeds up boss kills

The game mode is punishing, especially on early waves. Avoid running all debuffs. Three solid DPS units and one support remain the safest setup for overnight consistency.

Buffs, Debuffs, and Run Consistency

Always choose:

• Buffs
• All-units boost
• Currency boost when available

Avoid debuffs unless you have high-end units or are deliberately pushing for top speed. Debuffs significantly increase enemy health and punish low DPS teams.

If enemies start overwhelming you, pick fewer risky modifiers and stick to stable stat buffs.

Placement Strategy for Fast and Safe Clears

This setup focuses on front-loaded clearing to speed up wave times:

• Place Dio near the entrance where he can instantly catch bosses as they spawn.
• Set Newsmen in staggered positions at the front for maximum bubble coverage.
• Broly or other AoE units should anchor the first curve or choke point.
• Guts can sit slightly behind the carry so he builds injury stacks safely.
• Keep farms active early then sell them before the final boss to maximize pressure.

This placement ensures you handle each early boss without leaks and melt the final boss before it reaches dangerous areas.

Managing Early Waves and Bosses

Early bosses have low HP but punish weak setups. Dio must get his early upgrade path quickly. Prioritize:

  1. Farm upgrades
  2. Dio upgrades
  3. Guts
  4. Broly
  5. Support fill-ins

Once Dio hits his main power spikes, the mode becomes significantly easier.

Use time stop abilities if your units are struggling on the Wave 10–15 boss transitions.

Late Waves and Final Boss

The final boss can reach 200M+ HP, but a fully upgraded Dio, Guts with stacks, and Broly AoE zone pressure will melt it quickly. If the boss escapes a carry’s range:

• Replace your unit slightly further down
• Trigger time stop
• Sell farms for emergency cash

This ensures a smooth clear even on slower runs.

Expected Run Times

• Beginner or mid-level comp: 9–10 minutes per run
• Strong comp with good BBs: 8–9 minutes
• High-end comp with Monarch Hollow Knight: 7–8 minutes

The faster your average run, the more Leaves per night.

AFK Options

Right now the most stable AFK approaches are:

• Manual grinding on loop
• AFK Chamber (gives Cakes + Leaves passively)
• Macro/tiny-task once safe scripts release

For mobile and console players, AFK Chamber may outperform attempts at manual farming due to consistency.

Once macro setups with exact placements are released, full AFK overnight clears will become the norm.

Leaf Income Per Hour and Per Night

A typical 9–10 minute run yields 3,600 Leaves.

Breakdown:

• ~6 runs per hour
• ~21,000 Leaves per hour
• ~500,000 Leaves per full night of AFK

With faster 7-minute runs, this can rise above 1,000,000 Leaves per night.

Your income heavily depends on comp strength, buffs, and run consistency.
